The not so old bloke !

It comes as a great honour to acknowledge one Kevin Henley who recently completed 3,500 unbroken Kms on his `never ending` European adventure.

Those that know Kev are more than aware of his passion for and love of cycling - even if his knowledge of the TDF riders 2013 is a bit suss !

Some wiseass (me) might even suggest that with same sex marriage being touted Henley might want to push this one step further by seeking approval to formalise his relationship with his 2 wheeled partners !

After a fairly innocuous tour start through the lowlands of Holland and Belgium H had put in some exceptionally hard work in the mountains of Switzerland by grinding away on big climbs at speeds that I didnt think were possible (4.2 kms/hr on one occasion !)

H shows his love of cycling each night by telling with delight down to the 3rd decimal place how many kms he has done during the day, the exact nature of the road surface he`s ridden on and the condition at he end of the day of his favorite girl - the Pinnarello !

His touring effort is even more astounding when you realize that prior to 2007 Kev barely knew his way out of Diamond Creek.

Since then he has tackled some massive adventures including -

- China 2007
- Nepal 2009
- New Zealand 2010
- Tibet 2010
- UK end to end 20111
- Europe 2011
- Europe & UK 2013

Pretty damned impressive for a 60 + er and goes to show that you are never too old - although I must admit his excuses seem to be getting longer and longer !

In under two weeks H fronts his old nemesis the UK that left him in an institutionalized mass back in 2011 !

This time with 3,500 kms under his belt and a bit of that bulldog spirit ( strike that to read Hawk spirit) it should be no contest !

Well done Kev - keep on keeping on !

P.s. This should not be taken as any form of endorsement of or approval for you to keep on farting !
