Apparently starting up their own chapter of The German Hells Angels Paul and Chicky babe Barb are doing a motorcycle tour of Europe and dropped in to say g`day allowing us an opportunity to share our respective tour highs and lows.
For the most scariest moment so far Paul & Barb win hands down having lost control of their motorcycle on a multi lane Spanish freeway in the rain and in high speed traffic. Paul indicated they struck an oil patch when the motorcycle fish tailed violently threatening to high side Barb sitting on the back before, as Paul tells the story, with the skill of Juan Fangio ( I know he's not a motorcycle rider but he is of Paul's vintage) he regained control with Barbs foot actually striking the ground ...... hairy indeed for both !
It was great to catch up with them both, share a few laughs and wish them well for their remaining journey before heading back to OZ.
PS - Barney , stick to cycling !
