H was surprised the day before to find that the boxes would in fact fit our Vauxhall insignia thus allaying up till that time my non existant fears !
Said goodbye to our great hosts Kev and Julia that treated us so well hoping to see them out in OZ and or on the Redspokes adventure trail !
It was a pleasant 2 hour journey to Honiton through Dorset into Devon past beautiful patchwork fields.
H's torment, the English Roundabout, (few and far between) even had a day off as if signalling a fond farewell to the Aussie combatant !
We made time to arrive for a good Sunday dinner with Monika's family and as per family tradition a lively game of cards !
Spent the evening catching up with the rest of the family and trying to recover info off my damaged tablet.
Our final tally on this trip according to H was 4,850 kms, well down on the 7,000 planned due to illness, bike damage and injury..
Never the less some amazing sights seen and many lifetime memories
Now some last minute packing with Kev heading home and self doing a 3 week cyclye in Ladakh on the India Himalayas Redspokes trip taking our group over the highest motorable road in the world - with a little luck the past 3 months have served as a good warm for the adventure!
As for H (what a great effort) he'll no doubt be in action for the Friday ride and deservedly ear bashing anyone within range about his adventures - well done Kev !
