It`s nearly two years to the date that both swore theyd never do it again ! With a little persuasion and an age induced memory loss the boys are one week away from their start in Amsterdam !
1 superbly fit but direction disorientated rider and 1, let`s charitably say, `slightly underdone` rider are about to somehow ride through Holland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain and back to the UK to the finish line in Inverness Scotland !
The valiant duo (H & L) aim to follow all appropriate road signs, partake in all forms of cultural activities that don't involve getting dressed in shorts and slapping faces while remaining strong ambassadors for Australia ... until quote `some bastard cuts us off on the road `!
As usual Henley will take the blame for all that goes wrong - in the interest though of editorial non bias H reportedly will have the right of reply if he can get his PC typing skills up to more than 3 words a minute !
Both look forward to trying to say sane and keeping in contact with their many well wishers back home !
